and ResponsibilitiesThe Director, Information Technology (IT) Alberta, is primarily focused on the level three manufacturing execution systems (MES) used in Alberta Operations.

The role of the director is to manage the strategic and tactical planning and day-to-day operations of the IT activities with strategic alignment to enterprise mission and/or business plan through the application and deployment of information technology.

The Director, IT will report to the Senior Director, IT for Canadian Operations.Plan and manage the IT Business and user relationshipPlan the Business Driven IT StrategyLead the evolution of technical architectureManage vendor relationshipsDevelop and deploy IT products and servicesMaintain level 3 MES and related systemsManage IT operationsSupport and train usersSelects, develops and manages staff including managerial level employeesRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relatedMinimum 10 yrs.
