About The TeamWe are looking for a Senior Regional Sales Manager for the Outside Sales team to lead our efforts in acquiring top selection in Canada on DoorDash while building our sales talent funnel.About The RoleThe key to DoorDash’s growth is merchant selection.

The more local favorites we add to DoorDash, the faster we will add new customers, the better we will retain existing customers, and the higher our conversion rates will be for customers visiting our app or website.Every corner of the Canada has a local favorite; this role will help us win at the hyperlocal level.

By leading our top on-the-ground talent, this role is responsible for ensuring we maximize velocity of top selection, balance our DashPass, Pickup, and Demand Gen product offerings, and leverage our local knowledge to build the system that allows us to stay on the cutting edge of who we need to win and what it will take to win them in Canada (West, East, Quebec),This role will build and lead the team that is responsible for the acquisition of top selection across Canada, collaborate with partner teams to create a seamless onboarding experience for these merchants, and share learnings about their pain points with our Merchant Strategy and Product teams to inform our product roadmap.You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will… Build.

Our Regional Sales team has been responsible for bringing in talent, sculpting that talent collective, and preparing it for bigger things.

The first role of this leader will be to cultivate a strong culture of diversity and inclusion focused on people development, preparing our leaders and sales teams for their next opportunity.


Our Regional Sales team is responsible for our largest acquisition targets in the SMB outbound segment.

You will help set the strategy and oversee the execution of increasing ramp speed, managing/coaching performance, and empowering our Regional Sales Managers.


With the highest acquisition target in the outbound SMB sales world, our GMs of products may make or miss their goal based on this team’s performance.

The same goes for our local market selection goals.

You will operate at the lowest level of detail to learn more about these problems and collaborate with the Director of Regional Sales and cross-functional teams to help solve and provide solutions.


In the next 25 years, DoorDash will be critical to the infrastructure for every city in North America.

We will need to have a presence in every city in North America in some shape, form, or fashion.

While that may not mean Regional Sales representation in every city, it does mean staying close to the merchant to amplify the voice of Main Street.

Your role will require an in-depth understanding of your team’s and merchant’s problems and how they ladder into or impact company-wide goals.

You will need to see the whole field, stand up standardized report outs, pick out trends in why we are losing merchants from those report outs, and share the solutions that would be required for us to win them to our Strategy and Product teams.


Our Senior Regional Sales Manager will serve as the representative for Canada in leading the regional strategy, performance reviews, and levelling conversations.
