TNO serves Thorncliffe Park, Flemingdon Park, St.

James Town, Taylor Massey (Crescent Town) and the surrounding communities.

The agency engages in a neighbourhood and client-focused model of integrated, collaborative care, inter-sectoral service coordination, service enhancement and community development.

What we are looking for We are in search of a Fundraising Consultant to assess and evaluate our current fundraising activities and design a long-term fundraising strategy; manage corporate donations, foundation and individual major donor portfolios; and expand individual, foundation, and corporate partnership revenue.

We believe this opportunity will suit an innovative, passionate and experienced fundraising professional who has a solid track record of shaping and supporting successful fundraising strategies and goals and building strong giving relationships that will help allow TNO to achieve its mission.

Key Accountabilities: Lead the development of the fundraising strategy and action plans Collaborate with TNO departments to develop partnerships that increase brand recognition, digital and social media reach, thought leadership, and donor and volunteer engagement Identify, evaluate and approach potential funding partners and develop relationships with key decision makers Support in writing and presenting proposals to new funding partners Establish performance indicators and metrics to track success and opportunities for improvement, including conducting trend analyses for relational fundraising portfolios Identify and implement a donor database or CRM (constituent relationship management) system to help maintain effective and organized tracking systems, reporting, and donor and prospect files What it takes: University degree plus CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) certification Three to five years fundraising experience at managerial level Specific experience and proven results in developing fundraising strategies and goals and achieving outcomes Expertise with fundraising record management, direct mail appeals, marketing and communications Ability to write effective proposals and communication pieces for qualified prospects and existing donors Demonstrated high level of initiative, responsiveness, creativity, engagement, negotiating and influencing skills Strong inter-personal skills , cultural sensitivity, and proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with staff, coworkers, partners, donors, and diverse community stakeholders Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong computer skills.

Proficient at developing quality reports and deliverables using MS office: PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, as well as with online fundraising platforms such as Luminate Online, Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge
