Job Description Reporting to the Vice-President of Central Canada, the General Manager is a hands-on leader, ensuring the effective management of the operations in Winnipeg.

There are three (3) main responsibilities: management of operations, client management, and human resources, with direct and indirect management of approximately 100 employees.

What Would You Be Doing?

Management of Operations Develop, define, measure and analyze annual sales objectives.

Establish and manage multi-sites operating and maintenance budgets.

Develop and implement marketing strategies aimed at improving the profitability of activities.

Establish and monitor performance indicators to achieve operational efficiency objectives.

Ensure the proper management of procedures, health and safety, equipment and software specific to operations.

Perform data analysis to define and implement operational changes aimed at improving profitability and customer service.

Plan and direct the services of various suppliers.

Customer Relationship Management Negotiate renewal of contracts.

Establish and maintain lasting business relationships with real estate groups and our clients.

Establish and maintain a lasting business relationship with the various client owners; meet with clients, identify issues, assess and recommend various solutions.

Human Resources Management Work with your management team to train, coach and develop all employees in your region.

Maintain the development, deployment and monitoring of best working practices in close collaboration with the human resources department.

What Will Set You Apart?

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in operations management, including three (3) years in managing multi-site operational teams.

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or any other related field preferred or applicable working experience.

Exceptional leadership, communication and collaboration skills to engage and develop a strong team.

Ability to establish operational and organizational objectives to lead strategic and operational files aligned with corporate and client objectives.

Ability to mobilize leadership and build a team spirit while being an excellent strategic communicator.

Strong analytical thinking, details driven and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in MS office tools is required with proven Excel ability.

Enjoys being in the field visiting the various sites and clients.

Possess strong communication skills, written and spoken English skills.
