GFL Environmental is looking for ambitious and hungry Territory Account Managers to represent our Company throughout their assigned region, with a focus on hunting for new business!

The Territory Account Manager will be responsible for marketing and selling GFL’s Liquid Industrial and Hazardous Waste services to existing and prospective customers within their assigned territory Windsor, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and qualify leads within respective territory to drive additional sales opportunities through cold-calling and lead generation campaignsGather and utilize business intelligence on prospects to support sales calls, product presentations and driving new businessGenerating revenue and meeting sales targetsComplete documentation and assist customers with required paperworkHandle routine customer problems and manage interface between company and customerMaintain good working relationships with existing customers and recognize opportunities to up-sell additional servicesProvide sales strategies, market ideas, new concepts, and develop business plans to successfully execute strategies to grow revenueComplete waste inventories, collect pertinent waste information and sampling of waste at generator sitesMaintain a fundamental understanding of appropriate legislation including Ontario Ministry of Environment Regulation 347, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, etc., enabling you to successfully promote regulatory compliance to customersPrepare quotations, work orders and report activity through the Operation Management SystemKeep abreast of products, market conditions and competitive activities Knowledge, Skills and Competencies: 1-2+ years of Business Development and Account Management experience with a strong preference for B2B service oriented outside sales experienceCollege diploma or University degree in Sales, Marketing or related field of study is preferredA strong hunter sales mentality, with a goal oriented and profit driven approachStrong relationship building and interpersonal skillsProven ability to take initiative and display strong professionalismEffective time management and strong team building skillsAbility to work with limited supervision and problem solve independentlyAbility and openness to training and learning about the businessBasic computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint considered a strong assetTravel required within assigned territory Valid G Class Driver’s License RequiredWill likely work 4 days on road travelling to clients and 1 day from homeMay require overnight trips and some work outside of conventional working hours We thank you for your interest.
