THE OPPORTUNITYThe Key Account Manager will be responsible for assigned high-profile, key accounts.You will develop strategic business partnerships and proactively manage assigned key accounts to achieve business plan objectives, within allocated trade spend.

Assist in linking internal and external resources to successfully implement brand and category strategies to improve and enhance the customer experience.Frequent travel is required across the assigned territory.CompetenciesoHonesty and IntegrityoAdaptabilityoInitiativeoPassionoOrganizational SkillsoInterpersonal SkillsPrimary DutiesWorking with the Director, Key Account Management East, build short and long-terms sales strategies for assigned Key AccountsEstablish and deliver annual sales targets ensuring growth and profitability of assigned brands within the retailerDevelop and manage relationships with key accounts and support them in creating demand at the consumer level.Work directly with all key accounts to optimize program effectiveness and execution.Responsible for the development of fact-based, analytical and compelling sales presentationsActive participation with the Sales Team including participation in monthly sales callsDevelop and present annual planning session for assigned accountsDevelop an understanding of the industry and transfer this knowledge to the management of accounts reporting on competitive and industry newsWork weekends or overtime hours will be required, on occasion, during tradeshow seasonComply with all Standing Operational Procedures and company policies and proceduresBe an Indigo ambassador, who exemplifies our culture in all internal and external communications and interactions.

THE CANDIDATEEducation and Experience
·Post-secondary education in business/marketing/sales or related field is required
·5 years in sales/marketing in CPG is essential, ideally with experience in the Naturals/Organics spaceKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Bilingual in English/FrenchAction-orientedExcellent interpersonal skillsProven strategic and analytical thinkingDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, including Excel & PowerPointMethodological and organizeExcellent communication skills and ability to present in formal and informal settingsDemonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks appropriatelyComfortable working through ambiguityWork autonomously, and as part of a teamBuild and maintain exceptional relationships, both internally and externally While we thank all applicants for their interest in Indigo Natural Products, only shortlisted candidates selected for interviews will be contacted.
