overview: Reporting to Group Account Director, this role will oversee all agency deliverables for Home Hardware.This includes leadership of multiple integrated, multi-channel programs annually in addition to playing an integral role in leading and coordinating strategic planning and innovation initiatives.

Experience in retail, providing oversight and managing the deliverables of a retail calendar is an important aspect of this role.

The right candidate will have a passion for unignorable creative, demonstrate solid businessjudgment, exceptional project management and problem-solving skills, inspired strategic thinking, and have a proven track record leading all types of deliverables in a fast-paced agency environment.This person will have strong people skills and a passion for training and developing those under them.

what you’ll do in this role: Build deep, trusting relationships with the clients across a cross-functional team.

Understand client business in order to deliver against objectives.

Can manage and provoke difficult conversations, both internally and externally.

Actively participate in strategic planning sessions and build strategic plans with the support of the strategy team.

Ensure programs are executed efficiently, with attention to detail and delivered on time.

Mitigate risk by identifying issues and putting contingency plans in place.

Mentor and manage a team that motivates them toward a common goal and guide ongoing development of their skills.

A bias for action and won’t wait to be told what to do.

Be a positive force within the agency.

your skills and experience: 5-7 years of advertising or marketing experience.

Experience in retail is a requirement.

A track record of successfully overseeing multi-channel programs across the full customer experience.

Proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships across key stakeholders and groups.

Strong strategic thinking capability and proven success working in partnership with mid to senior level clients to solve business and communication challenges.

Ability to effectively and efficiently lead day-to-day operations of a large account, including setting agency priorities, overseeing process and financials, and effectively deploying resources based on client priorities and needs.

Collaborative, inspirational and effective leader of cross-functional and multi-agency teams.

Professional communication style to ensure any and all client issues are addressed swiftly, thoughtfully and fairly.

Pro-active; able to recognize potential issues and work with team/ client to resolve.

Excellent EQ and communication skills with a strong understanding of when to manage up.
