Position Responsibilities: Reporting to the General Manager of an asset-based full service 3PL providing customized solutions in supply chain management, warehousing, and truck brokerage.
The Key Account Manager will drive revenue growth within an existing customer base by understanding customers’ business, industry, and supply chain to provide solutions.
Will sell diverse services and analyze and leverage market data to identify opportunities for account penetration and growth.
Responsible for strategically drawing on unique competencies to demonstrate how the business can be beneficial to the customer.
Ability to analyze, create presentations with experience working with customer service, and managing the startup process after the sale.
The Key Account Manager will spend most of their time working with the existing customers to grow the business base.
Challenge is to increase revenues and maximize profitability.
Background Required: Strategic Account Management within Logistics (4 years) Mode of Transportation (i.e., Reefer, TL, LTL) Verifiable growth track record Pricing and Margin Integrity Managed KPI’s (i.e., Customer Development, Profitability, Market Penetration) Computer literate: Microsoft (i.e., Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook) Residence: Toronto, ON Background Preferred (but not required): Transportation Management System (i.e., McLeod Customer Experience: Produce, Food, CPG, Retail Multi Service Offering experience (i.e., warehousing, trucking, international transportation) Education: Bachelor’s degree Other Essential Abilities and Skills: Excellent communication at all levels Collaborative Innovative solutions minded Results driven Team player If you are interested in this opportunity but you’re not ready to apply, please email the Practice Leader provided below with your questions.
