Manager, Hardware Analytics


This is a Contract position in Toronto, ON posted November 19, 2020.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, COA/COR Strategy, this role will primarily be accountable for developing reporting and analytics to support the management of cost of acquisition and hardware and device pricing for both Rogers & Fido brands.

– Develop datasets, reporting and analytics to monitor and measure KPIs related to hardware sales.

Leverage analytics within an ROI framework to shape hardware strategy
– Build, maintain and distribute data visualization (Tableau, Power BI) of hardware analytics for use of the pricing team and other cross functional partners
– Use hardware dataset to identify/measure opportunities to help achieve key portfolio objectives such as containing hardware spend within budget; hitting subscriber targets and maximizing efficiency of hardware spend
– Present senior leadership team with information to baseline hardware decisions by analyzing data, identifying opportunities and recommending improvements to our device pricing strategies
– Ensure all reporting and program documentation is accurate, reasonable, comprehensible, and completed in a timely manner
– Conduct research and analysis to help determine new hardware pricing strategies and tactics for the portfolio to drive greater financial results

– Perform ad hoc projects as required Qualifications:
– An undergraduate business/commerce degree
– Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn and understand concepts, multi-task, investigate issues, solve problems, promote efficiency/automation, make decisions, manage processes, and work independently with minimal supervision
– Minimum 2-5 years experience in a similar role
– Strong proficiency with SQL, SAS, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Word.

– Strong business and financial acumen
– Excellent and proven analytical skills, exceptional problem solving skills with attention to detail
– Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, and perform well in a fast paced and dynamic environment
– Proven ability to exercise a high degree of business judgment and sound reasoning
– Demonstrated strong customer service orientation, interpersonal, and communication (written/verbal) skills
– Demonstrated track record of interacting with and influencing senior executives
– Strong verbal and written communication skills
