The Manager, Facilities & Maintenance will oversee the Facilities & Maintenance department for our retail, head office and distribution center populations, and will supervise all maintenance and facilities related activities, such completing requests received from Michael Kors Work Order system, emails, phone calls and provide on-going support in partnership with various teams.Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Retail:Manage maintenance requests for The North RegionMK Canada – 3 districts (35 locations)MK USA 3 districts (47 locations)Ensure warranty related repairs are completed Determine the nature and urgency of the repair problem and report the problem to the appropriate vendorLog, review and allocate all maintenance issues for given districtsRequest security as needed for repairs and preventative maintenance work to take placeObtain and evaluate competitive bids from service contractors for all small scale projects including store closingsCoordinate the scheduling of all work between the contractor and the stores Identify and report recurring problems to Senior Manager of Store MaintenanceAssist with rotating schedule of after-hours and weekend on call for emergency service calls for Canada & US locationsRespond quickly and clearly to all inquiriesCorporate / Distribution Center:Provide ongoing support to Head Office and the Distribution Center for maintenance and facilities related issues, questions and demandsEvaluate report and coordinate needed repairs Manage proposal of repair solutionsManage maintenance budgets/costs to ensure efficiency and profitabilitySupervise, lead and develop one employee – Maintenance Clerk Supervise all janitorial related work Supervise all supplies orders Partner with HR to report any safety or security related issues for expeditious processingPartner with building management plans for EAP (Emergency Action Plan) and FSP (Fire Safety Plan).Ensure all work order requests are acknowledged immediately, completed or entered in progress.Requirements:CEGEP/College degree 4 6 years’ relevant experience in Maintenance and Facilities Exceptional organizational skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills, both French and EnglishAbility to interact well with vendors and contractors as well as corporate/retail management and co-workersAbility to work well under pressure and results orientedAbility to locate equipment companies for operating services and materials needed for: manuals, specs, and warranty.Proficiency with computers Microsoft Office (including Excel)Flexible to work on off hoursAccommodations for applicants, including applicants with disabilities, are available in all aspects of the Company’s selection and recruitment process, upon request.
