About the role: Reporting to the Bank Manager, the Personal Manager will manage, retain and improve customer outcomes for a portfolio of highly valued current or potential customers.

This will be achieved by building relationships with both personal (salaried) and self-employed customers to understand their current and future needs, and to provide the best customer outcomes.

The Personal Manager is a senior member of the team who will assist and drive the business strategy forward.

You will build quality relationships and offer tailored solutions by motivating our customers to achieve their financial goals.

Your customer focus, strong technical accuracy, attention to detail, and numerical thinking ability will be your biggest assets in this role.

Ability to think both strategically and tactically and someone who enjoys a role, where no two days are the same.

What do I need to be successful?

As an experienced lender, you will have business and retail lending knowledge.

Tertiary qualified in Finance or equivalent is preferred Strong understanding of credit and lending principles Ability to work independently, with a willingness to share with team and learn from the best practice of colleagues Strong understanding of the local business environment you will operate within Knowledge of the fundamentals of financial planning preferred Strong Relationship Management skills and can display outstanding interpersonal and communication skills Ability to use technology solutions to support productivity, efficiency and innovation .
