R&D Project Manager

We invite you to check us out at As our R&D Project Manager, you will plan and lead the primary projects within Research and Development from the initial conceptual stages all the way to product launch.

Key Responsibilities Key Result 1: Project Management of multi-disciplinary R&D projects The Project manager is responsible for delivering the project results with the support of the project team.

Create and maintain complex schedules for project management, coordinating and prioritizing activities across multiple teams (E.g., R&D, Operations, Sales and Marketing and Service) Realize project goals such as time, quality, functionality, and cost.

Drive communication of project health and status with the leadership team, project members and stakeholders.

Cross-functionally communicate between departments to ensure all parties involved are informed and up to date on project scope, changes and project challenges.

Continuously improve the project plan to achieve the best business results.

Key Result 2: Enhance and Improve the New Product Introduction (NPI) Process Strive for continuous improvement of the NPI Process Own the NPI process and ensure projects are backed by organised and consistent documentation.

Train others on best practices and their role within the process Review all areas of the project management system during and after projects, adapting experience and feedback, developing improvements for future implementation.

Key Result 3: Build a team to support project deliverables Plan, Recruit, lead and manage a small team of dedicated resources to support both project requirements and requirements for existing products: NPI Quality Lead – Validates product from the perspective of the user and ensures a successful quality process at the project level.

Regulatory Compliance – Ensures all existing and new products meet relevant regulatory compliance requirements.

Technical Writer – Creates and maintains user facing documentation.

Key Qualifications and Experience University degree in Engineering or equivalent Minimum of 5 years project management and management experience.

This experience is preferably within an R&D and manufacturing environment.

Project Management Professional certification is preferred.

The successful candidate is a calm under pressure problem solver and a great communicator who builds effective team relationships with honesty, respect and passion for getting the job done.

Other Beneficial Experience Scuba diver, interest in company sponsored scuba training or you think scuba diving is pretty cool Proven communication skills both in-person and hybrid ways or working.

Excellent internal communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lead and positively influence people in interactions at all levels within an organization.

Capacity to work under pressure on multiple concurrent priorities and deadlines.

Ability to build and facilitate strong cross-functional work teams.

Uncompromising dedication to safety and quality Excellent command of the English Language, written and verbal.

Proficient in MS Office tools including Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
