Position Description As the JSS Market Manager for the Montreal North/Abitibi area, you will be responsible for developing key partnerships through driving in-field conversions, trial and brand awareness which directly impacts our market share in your region of responsibility.

You will work closely with our Sales and Core Trades Teams to facilitate end user conversions through partnering with Key End User Partners and distribution partners.

You will also be tasked with the development and execution of a regional plan which targets and converts strategic users and enhances brand awareness in your territory.

You will possess the passion, drive and charisma necessary to deal directly with end-users on jobsites, in tool cribs and training facilities.

Excellent communication skills are paramount given your interaction with the multiple functions involved in the selling and conversion process.

Duties and Responsibilities Identify and develop a plan to convert strategic users in the Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical, Mining, and General Construction verticals Execute end user calls both independently and with distributor sales staff Build strong relationships with end user and distribution partners Maximize exposure and relationships within key trade associations and trade schools such as the ECA, MCAC, IBEW and UA Effectively present and sell the Milwaukee advantage to users Be a product and application expert for Milwaukee’s breadth of line in Cordless, Hand Tools, Accessories, and Corded products Know your competition and their weaknesses Operate within the established budget guidelines Prepare and present monthly recaps and monthly conversion estimates Education and Experience Requirements Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience 2-3 years’ experience in sales or related field Must be proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office applications Must possess effective business communication skills, broad business perspective and market savvy Requires a valid driver’s license with clean driving record
