Who you are: We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results Geotab is seeking a Vice President, Product Marketing who will be responsible for planning, creating, and implementing the overall global product and solution marketing strategy for Geotab.

If you love technology, and are keen to join an industry leader — we would love to hear from you What you’ll do: As Vice President, Product Marketing, your key area of responsibility will be to manage the team of marketers responsible for market research and competitive intelligence as well as messaging, packaging, and delivery of our solutions to market.

You will work cross-functionally with Geotab business, product and marketing leaders globally to drive strategy and elevate the company, platform, product and solution messaging and positioning.

To be successful in this role, you are able to take complex technology concepts and convert them into simplified, value-based packaging and positioning that drives revenue.

How you’ll make an impact: Lead and mentor a team of product marketing, program managers, and market and competitive intelligence professionals who are collectively responsible for driving strategy, messaging and positioning, sales enablement, content, and stand-out marketing.

End-to-end ownership of product/solution marketing
– both strategic vision and tactical execution for Geotab’s offerings.

Evaluate market drivers and align with roadmap priorities to formulate the overall solution marketing plan, including specific measures of success.

Provide input and strategy recommendations into product roadmap, strategy, and positioning based on market and customer research findings, industry analyst interactions, and competitive intelligence.

Research, develop, and execute market and competitive trend analysis, right-fit revenue and profit pool identification, market sizing and addressable market, win/loss analysis, competitive intelligence to inform strategy.

Develop and own solution positioning, messaging, and value propositions that differentiate Geotab solutions in the marketplace.

Activate value, use case messaging and positioning for all core and prioritized segment offerings.

Get close to our customers to understand customer requirements, usage and buying behavior, and the partner ecosystem to better identify market opportunities and customer demand for Geotab offerings.

Enable sales and partners with sales tools, impactful training, and audience-specific content including solution briefs, web content, presentations, datasheets, ROI/TCO analysis and business case tools, and sales playbooks that can be utilized globally.

Train and support Geotab’s global sales team and channel partners to articulate solution positioning and advantages.

Educate the market about the value of Geotab’s offerings through demos, on-demand product tours, whitepapers, presentations, technical blogs, collateral, bottom of funnel content, etc.

Work with our alliance, partner, and Marketplace teams to articulate and expand customer value through our ecosystem and integrations.

Lead Geotab’s analyst relations strategy and interactions with key industry analyst firms.

Grow a customer reference program to engage our customers and to showcase customer success and value realization achieved using Geotab.

Strategize and partner with Geotab demand generation and global marketing teams to design and launch campaigns designed to create measurable pipeline impact and increase penetration in core segments within enterprise accounts.

What you’ll bring to this role: Minimum 15 years as a product/solution marketing leader in the enterprise B2B technology sector.

Bachelor’s degree; Pragmatic Marketing Certification and an MBA is a bonus, but not required.

Strategic thinker with the ability to define, pursue, and execute high level objectives.

Proven ability to understand and communicate business processes, business challenges and associated infrastructure requirements effectively within different vertical industries and/or business functions.

Proven ability to provide the overall marketing direction for a solution, or set of solutions in an industry or functional area, including building a market-driven business case, developing a marketing and launch plan, creating compelling messaging based on customer pain points, and working closely with customers, industry experts, press and analysts.

Experience working with ecosystem partners, technology partners and system integrators to develop and implement partner marketing plans.

An entrepreneurial drive and work ethic.

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate closely with marketing colleagues.

Ability to prioritize in a results-driven, collaborative environment.

Aptitude for technology and ability to connect technical concepts with customer value.
